Curro studied screenwriting and film directing and producing at the University of London.
Back in Madrid he wrote and directed the multiple award winning short, "The Explanation", his professional career booster. Ever since he has pursued a career as a writer in many TV projects such as Bambu Producciones "Traición", a prime time drama for TVE, or "High Seas", a period mystery series for Netflix, and others.
He developed his skills as a showrunner at Buendía Estudios for 5 years, where he was the studio executive producer of a variety of shows, including "Mentiras", "Camilo Superstar", "Galgos", "Los Protegidos". His multi skill profile allowed him to also direct 8 episodes while at the same time overseeing the writing.
