Maxwell Trotta is an actor, videographer and producer based in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, California.
Born in Tampa, Florida. He is the youngest of three siblings, Lauren and Ryan, son of Halle E. Peck and the late Charles W. Trotta, both established photographers.
The grandson of the late Charles "Charlie" Trotta I, a renowned figure in talent representation, is credited with discovering and managing a number of the most celebrated and iconic singers, entertainers and bands in American history, including Rosemary "Rosie" Clooney and Elizabeth "Betty" Clooney, with the addition of Tony Pastor. The late Charlie Trotta I is portrayed by actor Chris DeRose in the Emmy Award-winning film The Rosemary Clooney Story.
In 2005, Maxwell Trotta began working as a child print model for Gap Kids, Bealls, and Lands' End.
At the age of 11, Maxwell began playing tennis at the competitive level, eventually becoming a top-ranked junior in the state of Ohio shortly after moving to Chagrin Falls, OH. In 2013, he relocated to the Gomez Tennis Academy, located in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he spent three years living and training full-time, with mentorship and coaching from both Rene Gomez and former world number one ranked player, nine time grand slam champion, Monica Seles.
In August 2018, Trotta Tennis Academy was launched after attaining contracts with the City of Tampa. Featured on NBC WFLA, The Tampa Bay Times, Daytime TV, Fox and Bloom TV.
Maxwell Trotta's career as an actor and industry professional began in 2018, shortly after signing with Alexa Model and Talent Management. He started with supporting roles in various short films while undergoing voiceover training at the University of Tampa. His early work included as stand-in and double for the role of Cody in Warner Bros.' Bad Monkey television series in Miami, Florida, where he appeared in select scenes. This led to numerous television and commercial roles, including appearances as Nature Teacher for Bluewater Media, Lifeguard in National Geographic's When Sharks Attack, Season 9, Fiancé for Graham Jewelers, Athlete for Echelon Rowing, and E.R. Doctor for Fumero Productions, among others.
Maxwell is also known for his behind-the-scenes videography, done videography and production work. He began as B camera operator for National Geographic's When Sharks Attack (Season 9), following his on-screen role. His career has expanded to various television and commercial projects, including serving as a production coordinator for the 2023 CMT Awards, followed by roles as executive producer, showrunner, and casting director, contributing to numerous episodes on mainstream network television.
