Gudrun was born to immigrant parents in what is now a ghost town in northern British Columbia, Canada. She began her performing career after unintentionally landing a role in a musical, and has been honing her skills in a New York-style actors' studio.
Gudrun is often called upon to play high status characters, though she harbors a love of comedic roles. She has recently produced a short film that is showing enormous potential for film festival success, and is looking forward to working on an internationally co-produced feature film.
She lives in Alberta with her husband and four children where they raise elk and bison.
