Riku Rantala is a Finnish journalist, author, and television persona known for his adventurous and socially engaged storytelling. He began his career as a crime reporter at Helsingin Sanomat, where he specialized in investigative journalism and crime coverage. He later rose to prominence as a co-creator of the award-winning travel documentary series Madventures, made with Tuomas "Tunna" Milonoff, with whom he has also co-written several travel-oriented books. Since then, Rantala has hosted reality and documentary TV programs, talk shows, and podcasts. He's received recognition as Speakersforum's Speaker of the Year (2016) and was named the Most Versatile Host in 2022 - and was also voted Finland's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2007.
