Jasmine Hazi
Jasmine Hazi was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was raised by her French/Swiss mother (Irene Hazi) and Yemen/Israeli Father (Amir Hazi) and grew up in a multi-cultural environment due to her unique heritage.

She studied the art of acting, writing, and directing at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where she graduated with distinctions in 2019. During that time, she featured as a comedic prankster on the MTV South Africa reality TV show 'You Got Got' and as a stand-up comedian on the occasional open-mic night. She also worked as a model and was featured in several commercials, prints, and music videos for musicians such as Priddy Ugly and The Tazers.

In 2020, Jasmine starred as the lead in her first feature film, 'Olivia', directed by Khalid EL-Jelailati. After moving to Cape Town at the beginning of 2021, she featured as an extra on the TV series 'The Power' and starred in the fashion film 'Cotton Candy 3'. In 2022, she was cast in the Netflix Film 'Prime' as the role of Eva/Na'amah. 'Prime' premiered at the Durban International Film Festival in 2023 and was released internationally to Netflix in January of 2024.

Since then, she has starred in two more films: 'Let's Not Talk About It,' which premiered at the Durban International Film Festival in 2023, and 'Not So Fast.'

Jasmine's career continues to gain traction as an actress in the Film, TV, and Theatre industry.
