Malavika Tiwari aka Malavika, is an Indian model turned actress known for her work in films and television during the late 1980s and 1990s. She gained recognition for her roles in movies like "Chamatkar" (1992) and "Bechain (1993), as well as her appearances in popular TV shows such as "Chanakya" and "Gulmohar West." Beyond acting, she was also a successful model, featuring in campaigns for brands like Nivea, Frooti, Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea and Cadbury.
She appears briefly in the James Bond movie Octopussy (1983) as one of the girls rowing in the barge. Boat master, Mike Turk taught the actresses portraying Octopussy's girls how to row.
Octopussy's lavish barge was constructed from two matching Indian vessels located on the opposite side of Lake Pichola to Udaipur. One was still seaworthy and became the basis for the barge, using spare parts from the other ship.
After stepping away from the limelight, Malavika explored her creative side through stained glass art, with her works adorning celebrity homes and institutions.
