Three Nickelodeon shows are getting a mix-up on Netflix (in the US). Two fan-favorites are getting an older season re-added, while another show is set to leave entirely.

iCarly, starring Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy, has now been back on Netflix in 2021, although it got a season shakeup in 2023. The same also applies to Henry Danger getting a similar shake-up with the caveat that Netflix also bagged the rights to the follow-up series, Danger Force. Much like NCIS, which lost its earlier seasons and was later re-added, that’s now happening with these two Nickelodeon shows with the first season of each coming back.

These early seasons are scheduled to touchdown on Netflix (in the United States) on March 31st, 2025. Even with season 1 returning, Netflix will still be missing some seasons.

For Henry Danger, Netflix will stream seasons 1, 4, and 5, while seasons 2 and 3 will only be available on Paramount+ for the foreseeable future.

For anyone growing up in the 2000s, Jennette McCurdy was a big part of their childhood. She played Sam Puckett, a rough and tumble girl with a spunky attitude, on the Nickelodeon sitcom "iCarly." The high-energy, candy-colored show follows a group of teenagers who find fame on a prank web series. "iCarly" ran from 2007 to 2012 and was followed by the spin-off and "Victorious" crossover, "Sam & Cat," where McCurdy starred alongside Ariana Grande (now an Oscar nominee for her role in the movie adaptation of "Wicked") as the series' namesakes. Their characters were like oil and vinegar, with Sam's toughness rubbing up against Cat's sweet, ditzy nature. The series was short-lived, though, and only ran from 2013 to 2014.

The Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious is getting a spinoff series featuring one original star. The news comes after the original show ended its run on Nickelodeon 12 years ago.

Originally, Victorious ran for four seasons between 2010 and 2013. Per Deadline, it now has a second spinoff in development with Daniella Monet set to reprise her role as Trina Vega. The project is in development under the working title Hollywood Arts, which could end up changing. Casting is now said to be underway to find co-stars for Monet, and as of now, no other cast members from Victorious are reported as being involved. It would seem that special appearances are not out of the question, but nothing is confirmed.

“Victorious” has another spinoff in the works, with Daniella Monet set to reprise her role as Trina Vega in a multi-cam Nickelodeon comedy with the working title “Hollywood Arts,” Variety has confirmed.

The series, which is in development and has not yet been greenlit, will follow Trina as she returns to her old stomping grounds to teach students at the fictional Los Angeles performing arts high school. It would mark the second spinoff of “Victorious,” following “Sam & Cat,” starring Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande.

Casting is underway for the spinoff, and it’s unclear whether any other “Victorious” stars — including Victoria Justice — will reprise their roles in “Hollywood Arts.”

Monet, who starred in all four seasons of “Victorious” as the older sister to Justice’s Tori Vega, will executive produce the spinoff alongside Jake Farrow (who was a writer-producer on “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat”) and Samantha Martin.

Exclusive: The Victorious universe is eying further expansion with a second spinoff series, Hollywood Arts (working title). Starring Daniella Monet, who will reprise her role as Trina Vega, the multi-camera comedy is in fast-track development at Nickelodeon, with early casting getting underway, sources tell Deadline.

Produced by Nickelodeon, Hollywood Arts follows Trina returning to her old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.

Monet serves as an executive producer alongside writers/executive producers Jake Farrow — who was a writer-producer on both Victorious and offshoot Sam & Cat and also voiced Robbie’s puppet Rex Powers on Victorious — and Samantha Martin (Nick’s Henry Danger and The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder).

Victorious creator Dan Schneider, who parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018, has no involvement in the spinoff. His Nick tenure has been under scrutiny, including in the docuseries Quiet On Set whose producers he is suing for defamation.

Nickelodeon has been a staple of children's television since the late 1970s, with iconic cartoons and live-action shows that have entertained kids and teens for generations. And with these live-action shows, many teen actors started their careers in the industry. Shows like Clarissa Explains It All or iCarly have earned a place in fans' hearts, and some of these actors became incredibly successful afterward.

While a few of these actors have struggled to find success after their time on Nickelodeon, others have thrived in the industry. These celebrities who have managed to achieve new levels of fame are easily recognizable. Some may have forged a different path outside of Nickelodeon, making a name for themselves within the music industry or with talented work behind the scenes.

This is the fifth consecutive year The Joe Rogan Experience has been the top podcast on Spotify and comes after he interviewed former President Donald Trump on his show leading up to the election. Cooper, who hosts Call Her Daddy, interviewed Vice President Kamala Harris on her show and took the second place slot for the second year in a row.

Notably, the two podcasts still topped the list after Spotify ceded exclusivity of both titles. The Duchess, otherwise known as Meghan Markle, has signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media, the company behind Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The move will see her launch a new podcast series and Lemonada will also distribute her previous Spotify series Archetypes to all podcast platforms.

It comes after her and her husband Prince Harry parted ways with Spotify last year.

There are no details of the show yet, but Meghan will host the as yet untitled series.

Archetypes, which was previously a Spotify exclusive, will be rolled out to all audio platforms with Lemonada distributing. The series has recorded over 10M downloads, around a million listens per episode and debuted as Spotify’s No.1 podcast in 47 countries around the world when it launched in August 2022.

Updated with U.S. debut. Spotify, which last month launched audiobooks in the UK and Australia as part of its offerings for Premium subscribers, has expanded the new business to the U.S.

U.S. subscribers will now have access to 200,000 audiobook titles, the company announced Wednesday. At launch, 15 hours of listening will be included at no extra charge, with 10-hour “top-ups” available for purchase.

The move gives subscribers book options alongside 100 million music tracks and 5 million podcasts, the company said.
