The event kicks off on January 8 with the ninth episode of the season, titled “Volunteers.”

Fans can now see a behind-the-scenes video of the chaos that happens when “The Gang” visits Willard R. Abbott Elementary, thanks to recently released promotional material. “It Takes Two,” a classic hit by Rob Base and DJ Ez Rock, plays in the background of the 30-second clip, which shows funny interactions, such as a flirty moment between Mac (McElhenney) and Principal Ava (Janelle James).

The brief promo for the Jan. 8 crossover sees Charlie Day’s Charlie, Rob McElhenney’s Mac, Danny DeVito’s Frank, Kaitlin Olson’s Dee and Glenn Howerton’s Dennis visiting Willard R. Abbott Elementary — and at odds with Quinta Brunson’s Janine, Tyler James Williams’ Gregory, Sheryl Lee Ralph’s Barbara, Chris Perfetti’s Jacob and Lisa Ann Walter’s Melissa.

The 30-second look at the episode, set to Rob Base and DJ Ez Rock’s “It Takes Two,” features little in-jokes from the two shows, including Mac seemingly flirting with Janelle James’ Ava and Frank talking about trash.

In the end, perhaps it was Omarion’s previous career as a professional rollerblader that gave him away. Omarion was the latest celebrity to be revealed on “The Masked Singer,” during Wednesday night’s semifinals episode. (Scroll down to watch his unmasking.)

Omarion was the Yeti, whose skill rollerblading on stage while singing under a heavy costume had impressed the show’s panelists.

“I was able to reveal my hidden talent, which is rollerblading,” the singer told Variety. “A lot of people don’t know, early on before I was a musician, I was a professional rollerblader… I really attribute that aspect in my life to being a fearless kid. I was on the 12 foot halfpipe. So it was really cool to show my music and my hidden talent at the same time.

The Yeti could make history on “The Masked Singer” be becoming the first Wild Card to win. He landed his slot in the semifinal on May 19 with his change-of-pace performance of “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts on last week’s quarterfinal. Prior to this turn at the mike, the Yeti had won over the four judges with his rapping skills.

The Yeti is the only one of the four Wild Cards to make it this far in the competition. He first performed at the end of the Week 6 episode and impressed us with his cover of “If It Isn’t Love” by New Edition. As Season 5 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” heads toward its conclusion at the end of the month, Variety has the scoop on the guest panelists and show formats for the final three episodes.

On Wednesday, the “Spicy 6” episode saw actor/singer Tyrese Gibson unmasked as the Robopine. When “The Masked Singer” returns next week on May 12, the quarter finals will feature comedian Rob Riggle (“Holey Moley”) as a guest panelist, alongside regular panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Robin Thicke.

The following week, on May 19, the semi-finals will feature guest panelist Darius Rucker — that’s right, the Hootie and the Blowfish singer will join in on the guessing game. Also in that episode, the show’s mysterious “Cluedle-Doo” will be revealed.

Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon educated Tonight Show viewers with a "History of TV Theme Songs" Thursday.

The four-minute medley found the host and actor blazing through nearly a dozen sitcom theme songs, including Martin, Full House, Diff'rent Strokes and, of course, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which was performed in its entirety by Smith, Fallon and the Roots.

As a busy working mother of one, Fergie found a great – and adorable – way to spend more time with her son and get her work done.

Target is celebrating the Grammy Awards‘ major milestone with a one-of-a-kind mashup that’s not to be missed.

As a part of Target’s #MoreMusic surprises, Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey have teamed up with the retail giant to debut the first performance of their new song “The Middle” during the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday to follow up with the song’s Tuesday release.

“We worked really hard on this record to get it just right and it feels great to be able to finally share it with everyone,” Zedd says in the press release about the song, which combines electronic and country.

In Dnce’s new song, their mind is blown – and after listening to it, so is ours. The new single released from the dance pop band is yet another dose of funky brilliance from their upcoming debut record, but something about “Blown” makes it just a bit different from the other offerings that we’ve heard so far.

With retro vibes that sound straight out of the surf pop history books, Dnce goes all out on the “Blown” track, and it’s giving everybody a hefty dose of summer right at the end of October. It’s got much more lasting value than the lead single, “Body Moves,” too, because rather than writing yet another basic electro dance driven song, they switch things up by adding something different and more unique to their repertoire.

To make matters more interesting here, Dnce get hip-hop artist Kent Jones to provide some additional flair to the song.

As the old Rob Base/DJ E-z Rock song so eloquently put it, it takes two to make a thing go right (never mind to make it outta sight!). And nowhere is that truer than in the uncertain, post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead.

Jimmy Fallon turned the tables on “The Voice” coaches on Monday night and had them sing karaoke in front of his “Tonight Show” audience. Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine sang popular tunes while playing “Spin the Microphone,” which Shelton noted was “actually the stupidest game” he’s ever played. Jimmy Fallon and The Voice judges, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, brought all the endearing awkwardness of spin the bottle to a new musical version, "Spin the Microphone," on The Tonight Show Monday.

Instead of teens sucking each other's faces, the host and coaches took turns spinning a microphone and challenging each other to sing a song. Still, there was plenty of scheming, squealing, cringing, backstabbing and, ultimately, one conversation about erections.
