Walter Harris in Disaster Movie (2008)
Walter is an actor and producer, known for Disaster Movie (2008), Treme (2010) and A Toast to Green Lantern (2011).

Walter Harris was born "Walter Aziz Ahmad Jr." in Detroit, Michigan, to his mother Patricia Ahmad (Thomas) and his father Walter Aziz Ahmad Sr.. He carried the name until his mother remarried and changed her last name to "Harris" from her 2nd husband. That decision seemed to play well for him later in his acting career. Walter has been told numerous times to never go back to the name "Aziz Ahmad" for it may cause some confusion when casting.

Originating on Detroit's eastside, Walter unintentionally discovered his love for the arts by visiting an acting class just for laughs and looking to mock the whole study. That visit stretched a five year training while developing a full fledged career.

Walter soon became a familiar face throughout the city of Detroit, and was introduced to his new love in the acting world, 'IMPROV'! His 3 year residency at The Second City-Detroit positioned him as a member of the Touring Company and a Mainstage Understudy for Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) & Antoine McKay (Empire).

Continuously landing numerous regional commercials and starring roles in local films such as Silent Scream, Corrupted Minds, & Layla's Girl, Walter was encouraged by his Second City overstudy to finally make the big move to L.A.

Now, a seasoned Improv & Sketch Comedy Actor/Writer/Producer /Director with a list of Internet Shorts and stage shows, a founding member of the Award winning Sketch Comedy Troupe Frog Island Flicks (Creators & Hosts of the 2010 Hollywood Comedy Festival), Walter has landed roles in features such as Lionsgate spoof film Disaster Movie (2008) playing the Hancocl look-a-like, C'mon Man (2012) starring Tony Rock & Life's An Itch (2012) alongside TV host 'Rossi Moreale'.

He, along with Detroit native and longtime friend J. Writer Ward are co-founders of 8Wood Entertainment and are continuously building their writing, directing and producing resume with film shorts like Happy Birthday; The Short Film Thriller and other projects of all genres for all markets.

Equipped with a quick-witted charm, this handsome star is steadily rising in this industry!
