Angelo Iannelli is an actor, singer-songwriter and writer, known for Squadra antimafia - Palermo oggi (2009) and RIS - Crime Evidence (2005). He starred with Michele Placido and Alessandro Haber in "Dalla notte del mito all'Eneide nei luoghi e nei tempi di Virgilio," a theatrical adaptation of the Aeneid written by himself.
He also wrote the scientific essay "L'Io diviso: Dai medici-filosofi alla letteratura, al teatro e al cinema del Novecento" (2013), published by Aracne editrice, the essay "Il Metodo V.D.A.M. di Carlo Merlo. Una pedagogia attorica" (2023) and the novel "Bar Binario" (Aracne, 2016), from which he took a film script and a theatrical drama.
Iannelli has always accompanied his writing activity with music and acting, and has participated as an actor in films, theatrical performances, and TV series (Un medico in famiglia 9, Sangue caldo, Ris Roma 3, Il peccato e la vergogna 2, Benvenuti a tavola, Squadra antimafia 5, L'onore e il rispetto 4, Che Dio ci aiuti).
With Hydra Music, Iannelli's first music album, "Il cannocchiale," was released in May 2016, followed by the compilation, "Musica italiana" (Califano, Iannelli and Minghi, among others) and the single "Paolo a Francesca." In 2017, the single "Conserva i sogni" was released, followed by Milena in 2018, "Il Bambino di Aleppo" in 2019, and "Comico dell'arte," "GPB," and "DAG" in 2020, "Poema vocale" and "Malbene" in 2021, "Così scappi da te" in 2022. In 2024 was released his second music album, "Vicini margini", anticipated by the single "Elettronica".
