A riotous slasher throwback that pays tribute to horror cinema of the 80s and 90s, Don Capria‘s slasher Director’s Cut will soon premiere at two upcoming horror film festivals.
First up is the 2024 Chicago Horror Film Festival, which takes place this weekend from September 27th through the 29th at Chicago’s Logan Theater. The genre fest, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, will screen the film on the evening of Sunday the 29th as part of its “Feature Overload” programming block. It’s also being nominated for Best Feature.
Alongside hundreds of additional features and shorts, the Chicago festival will also host filmmaker Jennifer Reeder on Saturday night, who will screen her new Shudder Original Perpetrator. Tickets, film listings, and additional details can be found at www.chicagohorrorfilmfest.com
