Born and raised east of Toronto, Canada, Daniela Rojo is a woman of Jamaican and Chilean descent, and is an advocate for amplifying female voices. Daniela took up filmmaking as a hobby and passion from as young as 8 years old and later went on to study video design and production at George Brown College in Toronto.
Daniela believes in bringing awareness to real stories and taboo topics by making them a fantasy world on screen. In her eyes, film is a vehicle for empathy.
