- Auditioned five different times for the role of Kate in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, before being cast in the role.
- Moved to Los Angeles with her mother and sister at the age of 16. When 18 years young, she was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to pursue her dream, and graduated in 2007.
- LaBow, who grew up in New York, said it all started with her love for the Broadway musical Annie. When she was little, her dad would take her to shows such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Cats.
