Zee Asadel or Azizi Asadel was born Azizi Shafaa Asadel on May 16, 2004, in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia to Nur Ayu Chesty Maharani and Fadli Muhammad, an television actor. She started her career by joining the idol group JKT48 in 2018 at 14. Zee made her acting debut by immediately getting the opportunity to play the main character in a feature-length film, Kalian pantas mati (2022).
