Shena Verrett is an Actress, Writer, Model and Musician who has modeled for over 150 major publications and ad campaigns internationally. She has appeared on Lifetime, Oxygen and Bravo networks in commercials, promos and as a special guest on talk shows. She has a featured role in Origin directed by Oscar-nominated director Ava Duvernay and a lead role in the fiction feature film Phlo, directed by Jim Fielder. Phlo was the exclusive film at the Carnegie Hall Afrofuturism Festival and is part of the Black Metropolis display at the Smithsonian Afrofuturism Exhibit thru 2024.
In addition to acting, Shena is a songwriter for recording artists, film and television soundtracks and curates music events in several venues in the Southeast. Verrett performs original music as a solo artist or with her band Tenderhead.
