Vick Smith
Upon graduating from High School, Vick rushed to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. After landing a role in Crimson Tide as Gene Hackman's son, literally after landing at LAX, his dreams were on their way. He spent a little under a year wracking up roles on TV Shows, Films and even a couple national commercials.

Life happens and Vick left Los Angeles and started a family. Two amazing little boys later and a new career as a carpenter for the better part of the late 90's. In early 2000 he landed the lead in a feature "Five Beans in a Cup" shooting in his home town. The stress of family and trying to be a lead in a true independent film helped Vick to realize acting wasn't for him. It did stir up feelings that something was left for him in Los Angeles and he was off to find out what.

Over the following years finding the joy and pain of stand up comedy was both freeing and cathartic. Lucky enough to get time at many comedy clubs in LA, his passion for the craft couldn't out weigh the constant belittling of past turmoils. Realizing that performing wasn't his calling, he channeled his talent into writing.

Vick has been lucky enough to write and sell many different types of scripts. From a dating game show with Al B Sure, feature films made and in development and a television sit-com. His film "Dickie Smalls: From Shame to Fame" was screened in Park City during the Sundance Film Festival in 2007 filling the theater both nights. In 2009 he co-wrote a t.v. pilot for Nickelodeon, where he eventually proved he deserved to direct as well.

Life is a never ending roller coaster that has lead to never ending story content for his scripts and lessons allowing him to relate to his audience and his actors.
