The beat tag “It’s Kel-p Vibes!” — cooed sultrily at the start of some of Afrobeats’ best tracks — is a signal you’re in for a good time. Kel-p is the 27-year-old producer from Lagos behind much of Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated African Giant as well as Wizkid’s “Ginger,” and, as he tells Rolling Stone, upcoming projects from heavyweights like Davido, Wande Coal, and Adekunle Gold.
Kel-p is among a budding crop of Nigerian producers (including Pheelz and Young John) hopping up from behind the boards and pursuing careers as the lead act,...

John Winchester has a Captain America moment while fighting the Akrida on The Winchesters, marking a subtle nod to Supernatural and The Boys. When John is introduced on Supernatural, he's a well-known and skillful hunter. However, as The Winchesters follows him as an up-and-coming hunter, John's superhero moment is a complete failure and shows how inexperienced he is at the beginning. However, this singular moment manages to reference Sam and Dean.
With similarities between John and Mary to their children, The Winchesters reveals how much John and Mary change as they grow up and become parents, compared to the characters introduced on Supernatural. John's Captain America moment in episode 7, "Reflections," reveals just how similar he is to both of his sons, as Sam and Dean have had their own Captain America moments.

This Yellowstone review contains spoilers.
Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 8
Yellowstone season 5 can best, and favorably, be described as purposeful or deliberate. There have been a myriad of smaller character moments to build up an already impressive catalog of believable characters. There has been a spitoon filled to the brim with gobs of cowboy wisdom – reminding the show’s millions of viewers what the important things are in life according to co-creator and showrunner Taylor Sheridan. Most importantly, in this entire time, it has naturally been building to something. Slowly building, but building none-the-less.
In short, Sheridan, this entire season, has been playing the long game.
Case in point, we once again begin this episode, “A Knife and No Coin” thirty years ago, as we rejoin the series of flashbacks of Young John (Josh Lucas). It has been mentioned time and time again that Lucas has done a tremendous job this season...

Happy New Year! The last time we checked in with the Duttons, it was before Christmas and Jamie was plotting how to impeach his father. On this week’s mid-season finale — the last episode until summer! — we catch up with some old friends, plan assassinations and say goodbye to some Texas-bound cowboys. Dry your tears and chug some whiskey as you catch up with this week’s recap:
Young Rip (Kyle Red Silverstein) seems pretty confident throwing his first person into the Dutton murder pit. I’d be sweating more! Young John (Josh Lucas) discussing the branding with Young Rip, and the latter’s subsequent acceptance with his fellow cowboys, was heartwarming. After a youth spent wandering, Rip finally has a home and a family!

You'll never look at Sam and Dean's family dynamic the same way after The Winchesters. Sam and Dean Winchester each inherited traits from both their mother and father but, if you absolutely had to pick, Dean is probably closer to John, while Sam shares more in common with Mary throughout Supernatural. The older brother not only worships his dad, he shares John's relentless dedication to hunting and adopts the same embittered attitude, affording little mercy toward his opponents. Sam, meanwhile, is more emotionally mature, has a larger empathy tank, and hunts with reluctance, all of which sits closer to Supernatural's depiction of Mary.
The Winchesters flips that script by highlighting how similar Dean Winchester is to a young Mary Campbell, and how Sam Winchester has echoes of his father as an aspiring hunter. In The Winchesters episode 2, Mary proves far too headstrong for her own good as she stubbornly railroads John,...
