Fans have been waiting for any news regarding Kindred Spirits season 8, and for now, they're going to just have to keep waiting. Ghost hunting shows and paranormal TV series have always been popular fare on channels like Discovery, History, and now on streaming platforms. Kindred Spirits was created in the same mold as similar paranormal ghost hunting reality series like Help! My House is Haunted and Ghost Asylum. The series first premiered in October 2016, and since then, there have been six more seasons, the latest coming in 2023.

Kindred Spirits stars Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, paranormal investigators who previously appeared on other Syfy shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters Academy. Together, the pair investigate different residences where paranormal activity seems to be tied to the people occupying the homes. In season 4, Bruni and Berry were joined by psychic medium Chip Coffey, who helps the pair get in touch with spirits on a recurring basis.

Renowned Kindred Spirits psychic Chip Coffey is facing a health scare. The reality TV star joined the Travel Channel show in 2020 as an official cast member on Kindred Spirits Season 4 alongside Adam Berry and Amy Bruni. The 70-year-old self-proclaimed psychic has also starred on shows like Psychic Kids and Paranormal State. On December 5, 2024, Amy Bruni took to her Instagram to wish Chip Coffey a speedy recovery from a “nasty virus” he had contracted. Bruni also urged fans to keep the reality TV star in their thoughts. Chip Coffey appreciated the sweet gesture from his costar by leaving heart emojis in the comment section. Bruni ended her caption by wishing that Coffey overcome this period of being under the weather soon in the following words:...

Jack Osbourne's Night of Terror returns with Jack and his family visiting haunted locations and communing with the supernatural, including a visit to the Glen Tavern Inn. Sharon Osbourne was rushed to the hospital during an outing, which will be featured in the premiere, showcasing the family's chilling adventure. Other family members and famous friends, such as Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne, Jenny McCarthy, Jason Mewes, and Jamie Kennedy, will also participate in the new season, taking viewers to various haunted locations.

As the son of the "Prince of Darkness," Jack Osbourne is the perfect choice to complement Travel Channel's "Ghostober" programming slate. With the return of Jack Osbourne's Night of Terror, the 37-year-old reality star and his family visit various haunted locations and allow themselves to commune with the supernatural. Sharon Osbourne was reported to have been rushed to the hospital as a result of one outing, which will be covered in the premiere.

Things that go bump in the night will be honored at the first ParaPod Awards, set for Saturday, April 1 as part of the ParaPod Festival in Santa Clarita, Calif.

The awards honor the influencers and content creators who work in the paranormal genre.

“As a content producer and host myself, being able to create a platform to celebrate the paranormal genre and those content creators who are working in it has been a long-time goal,” says ParaPod founder Tony Sweet. “Influencers, podcasters, documentary filmmakers, television producers, and hosts who dare to cover topics like UFOs or Bigfoot often get overlooked by mainstream awards shows, and I want to change that.”

As Kindred Spirits enters its seventh season, stars Amy Bruni, Adam Berry, and Chip Coffey are nowhere close to giving up the ghost on paranormal reality TV. But the trio has been considering what their legacy might be on the entertainment genre and the paranormal community at large.

The real-life 'Conjuring' family are reuniting for the Kindred Spirits ghost hunt. We have an exclusive clip.

When The Conjuring debuted in 2013, the $20 million modestly-budgeted haunted house horror flick directed by James Wan became a $319 million juggernaut, and re-introduced famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to modern audiences. But the core of the story revolved around the real-life Perron Family who lived in the Rhode Island home, and were allegedly tormented by evil spirits.

Though the Perrons moved out of the house nearly 40 years ago, having lived with paranormal activity for a decade—and claiming to experience the ghost of a woman with a broken neck, being possessed, or levitated—the so-called Conjuring House still stands. And it remains occupied by the living, and perhaps also by spirits of the dead.

There is a 98-mile stretch of road on Nevada State Route 375, starting were it crosses U.S. 93, called the Extraterrestrial Highway. It is the closest public street to Area 51. There have been multiple reports of strange goings on in the skies over it, as well as in the tourist shops who have embraced their geographic legacy. Travel Channel’s series Kindred Spirits will haunt the ghosts as it returns from the cold sleep of the off season. What's haunting the house that inspired The Exorcist? Psychic medium Chip Coffey has an idea.

The weird, the odd, the Bizarre will return to the Tropicana Casino on June 13th through the 15th for a weekend of entertainment, education, commerce and camaraderie as we celebrate all things horror, paranormal and beyond at the Jersey Shore.

We told you recently that production has kicked off on The Night Visitor 2: Heather's Story, the sequel to The Night Visitor; and today we have a gallery's worth of exclusive stills and behind-the-scenes images from the shoot to share.

With production set to kick off in a few days, an update has arrived for The Night Visitor 2: Heather's Story, the sequel to The Night Visitor, Jennifer Blanc-Biehn’s directorial debut, which has been hitting the film fest circuit with a vengeance.

Internationally acclaimed psychic and paranormal investigator Chip Coffey ("Psychic Kids," "Paranormal State") has joined the cast of sci-fi thriller The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story, featuring Caitlin Carmichael ("True Blood," "Bag of Bones"), Mark Gantt (The Night Visitor, The Bannen Way), and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (Wrong Cops, Everly, The Victim).

I've always hoped that I might one day see something so alien in composition as to be utterly dazzling -- Bigfoot, a chupacabra, a ghost, or a UFO would be cool. Sadly, I've yet to come across anything of this ilk.

And so, in an effort to satiate this appetite, I used to stream a variety of paranormal talk radio shows off the Net. What became clear was that people were reporting and discussing subjective realities as opposed to objective ones. This is fine, and on a spiritual and mystical level, which is where I place paranormal phenomena, makes perfect sense to me, but the preponderance of the calls had the scent of desperation, even mental illness to them. Who was the family, and what really happened in that house? The answers to those questions are complicated and, much like other "true" stories, mired in controversy.

The Story:

In 1986 Carmen and Al Snedeker moved to the small town of Southington, Connecticut, with the purpose of being closer to the hospital at which their oldest son was being treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Having fallen on hard financial times, the family jumped at the chance to rent what appeared to be the perfect house.
