Derrick has worked in regional theater for more than three decades. He has also worked off-Broadway and Los Angeles area theaters. A native of Greenville, NC, Derrick studied theater while earning his Bachelors degree in Communications at East Carolina University. Later he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of San Diego/Old Globe Theatre classical training program.
