Watson Season 1, Episode 6, "The Camgirl Inquiry" finally takes some time to focus on the literary elephant not in the room. The CBS show's pilot episode opened with the death of Sherlock Holmes, and for the show to work it couldn't dwell on his absence. Series creator Craig Sweeny resisted the urge to mine the source material and mentions of Sherlock Holmes, so Watson has been able to establish itself and Morris Chestnut's take on the titular character as a solo act.
