Netflix officially renewed Xo, Kitty for a third season, with series star Anna Cathcart helping break the news in a short Valentine’s Day video. Season two arrived in January 2025. Netflix has renewed Xo, Kitty for a season three, the streamer announced Friday.

The romantic dramedy, a spinoff of Netflix’s To All the Boys trilogy, follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty, portrayed by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates her teenage years full of love and friendship while attending Korean Independent School of Seoul, often called Kiss.

Netflix announced the renewal in a Valentine’s Day-appropriate Instagram post captioned, “Roses are red. Violets are blue. There’s a third season of Xo, Kitty in store for you!” Season two of the series premiered Jan. 16 and debuted at No. 2 on the streamer’s English TV list with 14.2 million views for the week of its debut.

Xo, Kitty matched Anna Cathcart’s main character Kitty with several other potential love interests by the end of Season 1 after she went to school at Kiss in South Korea in part to be closer Minyeong Choi’s Dae.

The romantic dramedy, a spinoff of Netflix’s To All the Boys trilogy, follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty, portrayed by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates her teenage years full of love and friendship while attending Korean Independent School of Seoul, often called Kiss.

The trailer shows Kitty and her friends returning for a new semester at Kiss, with the teen heroine vowing to become “Kitty 2.0” for this new year. “Last semester end with so much drama. This semester I have my priorities straight – I’m going to hit the books and finally discover who my mom really was,” she says in the trailer.
