Broadway Stars Slam Zachary Levi For Implying Gavin Creel Died From Covid Vaccine

Noted anti-vaxxer Zachary Levi‘s new conspiracy theory has further alienated his friends and fans in the Broadway community.

Following Gavin Creel‘s death at age 48 last month, Levi implied in a bizarre pro-Trump rant on Instagram Live that the Tony-winning actor died because of the Covid vaccine, drawing ire from those Creel’s fans and loved ones.

“I know that this is going to offend some people and make some people mad, and I wish it didn’t,” prefaced Levi. “So, a few weeks ago, my friend Gavin Creel died. He was 48 years old, and he was one of the healthiest people I knew.”

Dozens Of Broadway’s Biggest Names Organize To Support Kamala Harris-Tim Walz Ticket

Exclusive: More than 50 of Broadway’s biggest names, including actors, directors, producers, writers and others, are organizing to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.

The volunteer coalition Broadway for Harris will work to to elect Harris, Walz and down ballot Democratic candidates this November. The organization plans to increase voter participation in key swing districts, produce fundraising events featuring the talents of the Broadway community and “work together toward a brighter, more hopeful, more equitable future for the country under the historic leadership of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.”

Among those who have signed on to the initial organizing committee are Adrienne Warren, Alex Edelman, Audra McDonald, Billy Porter, George C. Wolfe, Idina Menzel, Jeremy O. Harris, Lachanze, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Leguizamo, Sara Bareilles, Sarah Paulson, Shaina Taub and Tony Kushner. (See the full list as of August 19 below.)

The popular true crime talk show Rabia and Ellyn Solve the Case has signed an exclusive agreement with Rhapsody Voices for sales representation, distribution and creative strategy. The hosts, Rabia Chaudry and Ellyn Marsh, are no strangers to the podcast world with multiple successful podcasts between the two of them, including Undisclosed and I Think Not. Launched last October, Solve the Case became an instant success with a massive Times Square billboard, thousands of reviews and debuting at the top of the podcast charts.

After a short summer hiatus, the show will re-launch under new representation with Rhapsody Voices, a new network which strives to provide turn-key services and a close knit partnership approach to all shows.
