The 52-year-old former Modern Family actress brought her cousin Paulina Davila to the awards show on Sunday (September 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Sofia was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her work in the Netflix series Griselda.

Paulina is also an actress and she had a role on the show as Isabel, Griselda’s close friend from Medellín.

If you didn’t know, Sofia was previously nominated for four Emmys for her work on Modern Family, but she never won. This marks her fifth career nomination and first in over a decade.
