Costa Phillipou And Nick Ring Will Square Off At Ufc 154
With Ufc 152 right around the corner, Neil Davidson of the Canadian Press has reported via Twitter that Costa Philippou will be facing Nick Ring in November when the organization comes back to Canada for Ufc 154 in Montreal.

Ufc 154 will also mark the highly anticipated return of Georges St. Pierre as he defends his welterweight title against interim champion Carlos Condit.

Ufc President Dana White has received criticism lately for putting together fight cards that are top heavy and only have one quality match up. While the addition of a contest between Philippou and Ring is not earth shattering news, it does show the organization’s intent to bolster its upcoming fight cards.

Nikita Season One Premiere Episode Promo Images
The CW’s “Nikita” Facebook page has released a batch of official images from the show’s upcoming September 9 premiere episode. The images also give us our first look at Lyndsy Fonseca (“Kick Ass”), playing the young girl who Shane West’s character is trying to mold into the new Nikita. The original Nikita, of course, is Maggie Q., who has gone Awol from her shady government agency, which doesn’t sit well with them, being all shady and whatnot. “Nikita”, based on the Luc Besson movie “La Femme Nikita”, is from producers McG and Peter Johnson, and co-stars Aaron Stanford, Tiffany Hines, Melinda Clarke, Xander Berkeley, Neil Davison, Mark Day, Ashton Holmes, and Sebastien Roberts. Check out a ridiculously hot promo poster and new TV spot for Maggie Q.’s upcoming action-adventure show “Nikita” for the CW. These are part of the network’s new “Looks Do Kill” promo campaign for the show. So yeah, it sure looks like the network is putting a lot of money behind the campaign. Of course, it helps that their leading lady is ridiculously hot. Via Zap2it. Based on the French movie “La Femme Nikita” by Luc Besson, the TV show stars Maggie Q. as a government killer who goes rogue, forcing her old agency boss (Xander Berkley) to hunt her down while training her replacement (Lyndsy Fonseca). Keith Jardine Seeing Double in ‘Unrivaled’ directed by Warren Sonoda
Another exclusive video fresh from the set of Mma-powered movie ‘Unrivaled‘ shooting Toronto. This clip features the big, bald (& occasionally mean) Keith Jardine in a variety of scenes and on-set banter.

First off, Jardine messes with his stunt double Julian Lewis, then acts in a choreographed fight against Hector Echavarria, and also chats about his character and real-life friendship with Rashad Evans. Director Warren P. Sonoda shares some comments about working with Jardine pointing out his hard work and effort on set. Finally Jardine mentions his enthusiasm for indie film and the art of film and points out flaws in his stunt double’s hair-do.

MovieSet continues the coverage of ‘Unrivaled‘ with this interview with Al Sapienza who plays Sergio. In this interview he explains that he learned to act in prison of all places - which gets some laughs. He says he likes to plays gangster “light and fun,” and “charming and funny” “because that’s what they are really like.”

He comments that Director Warren Sonoda is passionate and a very good filmmaker and that Hector’s character Ringo “is likeable” and the story reminds him of modern day Rocky.

Double dose of stunt action from the set of ‘Unrivaled‘ - the Mma-fueled action movie in production with Warren P. Sonoda at the directing helm and Hector Echavarria, Rashad Evans and Keith Jardine contributing the fighting skills with help of stunt performers who make it look real and easy.

In this first clip “Hit and Run” - go behind the scenes of Unrivaled with actor Steven Yaffee to watch stunt performer Neil Davison and Stunt Coordinator Eric Bryson prepare for a hit and run scene.

In this second clip “Directing A Chase Scene” - follow director Warren P. Sonoda as he directs an on foot chase scene within a “live” street. See the people’s reaction as the actor’s race down the street. Then the stunt coordiantor has to move the group when a real-life bank in robbed in the neighborhood “I don’t want my boys to get shot” he says.
