Russell Griffin, ACE is an Emmy-winning sitcom editor and director, known for Frasier (2023), How I Met Your Father (2022), Extended Family (2023), La famille Upshaw (2021), Bienvenue chez Mamilia (2019), and Dingue de toi (1992).
A four-time Emmy nominee, in 2024 he won both the Primetime Emmy and the ACE Eddie for editing episodes of the multi-camera comedy series How I Met Your Father. In 2025 he won his second ACE Eddie award for an episode of the comedy series Frasier.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, Russell went on to earn his Masters of Fine Arts degree in Motion Picture Production from the Graduate Motion Picture Program at the University of Miami.
He is a member of the editing honorary society American Cinema Editors (ACE) - where he currently serves on the Blue Ribbon Committee, as well as the Television Academy - where he recently served a four-year term on the Picture Editors Peer Group Executive Committee and currently serves on their Artificial Intelligence Task Force.
