Eric Tansey

Eric is a former Army Paratrooper and combat veteran turned professional Podcaster and comedian. He also served as a police officer in the Raleigh Police Department and is author of the book Pig Latin, a seriously funny true story. Eric has been featured in many viral social media skits and then landed an acting part in the comedy series Office Joe.
Eric Left the military to pursue his passion for wine but after that didn't work out, he did what every C student combat veteran did when they couldn't find a job.. He became a cop. While he was a cop he still pursued his passion for beverage and became a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators and then got his Sommelier Pin from the Guild of Master Sommeliers. He eventually left the Police department to open his own distillery, specializing in rum.
While owning the Instill Distilling Co, Eric was invited onto a major podcast where he surprised everyone with his very funny and hilarious stories. He made his rounds onto several other podcast until he was offered a full time podcast position at the Drinkin Bros podcast network. This led Eric into doing live shows and events all over the country and eventually led him into stand up comedy.
As of September 2024, Eric Owns a Podcast Network with 8 major podcast and does live shows all over the country to build morale and raise money and awareness for PTSD.
