Emmy Liu-Wang
An actress, singer and musician, Emmy Liu-Wang is best known for portraying 'Ivy' in seasons 5 & 6 of Disney Channel's long-running hit comedy series, "Raven's Home," which stars and is executive produced by Raven-Symoné. 'Ivy' is Booker's close friend and enterprising young neighbor who often babysits Raven's young cousin, 'Alice.' All seasons of "Raven's Home" are currently streaming on Disney+.

She most recently stars as 'Paige' in Disney Branded Television's original movie, "The Slumber Party," now streaming on Disney+. 'Paige' is a natural born leader who is fiercely loyal, fearless, fun and self-assured! The storyline follows best friends 'Paige' and 'Megan,' along with soon-to-be stepsister 'Veronica,' who must deal with the hilarious aftermath of a sleepover birthday party hypnotism gone wrong, as they wake up with absolutely no memory of the night before and a missing birthday girl.

Emmy, age 18, was born into a musical family in Queens, New York. Both of her parents are professional cellists and music teachers, and as a result, Emmy started playing the cello at the age of five and piano at six and quickly fell in love with performing both instruments on stage. Very typical of young girls, Emmy dreamed of being a princess and loved everything Disney. She soon started fooling around on the piano and began accompanying herself singing Disney songs, igniting her passion for musical theater.

It did not take long for Emmy to start her professional career. At the age of 10, and with representation, she started auditioning for various roles. Her early projects include an appearance in an educational PSA with 6Underground and a guest-starring role in HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," which attracted more than 14 million views on YouTube. Staying true to her love of musical theater, she was cast in 2019 as 'Amaryllis' in the Broadway Center Stage production of "The Music Man" at The Kennedy Center alongside Rosie O'Donnell, Jessie Mueller and Norm Lewis.

With the devastating news of COVID-19 and the resulting shutdown of Broadway, Emmy began to shift her focus more towards TV and film. She was soon cast in a major role as 'Ivy' in Season 5 of "Raven's Home" on Disney Channel. In the summer of 2022, Emmy auditioned for a leading role in Disney Branded Television's Original movie, "The Slumber Party." Despite going up against stiff competition, she landed the role of 'Paige,' and shooting began in October of 2022. Emmy attend the D23 convention in Anaheim in 2022 where Season 6 of "Raven's Home" was announced, and she began production in November of the same year.

In May 2023, Emmy was honored to be invited to attend the White House's celebration of Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage month! She attended the red carpet premiere of the Disney+ Original Series, "American Born Chinese," where President Biden gave opening remarks.

Emmy is dedicated to giving back to her community, and she is an influential and powerful Mentor/ AKA Celebrity Godparent for the Saving Our Daughters organization co-founded by Keke Palmer. While filming "Raven's Home" in Los Angeles, Emmy participated in their Cinderellas Peer-To-Peer Mentorship program at East L.A. Rising where she interacted with young children. More recently, Emmy was paired with a 5th grade Cinderella in New York City to participate in a short story television series with Saving Our Daughters & ABC OTV to help inspire girls of multicultural backgrounds across the country dealing with mental health for the start of their 2023-2024 school year. ABC OTV aims to air this special in Fall 2023 on ABC Localish, a national TV and digital media network dedicated to telling positive stories that celebrate communities across America, as well as on ABC's social platforms, and millions more on Disney-owned streaming platforms.

In her spare time, Emmy is a typical teenager. She loves to hang out with her friends, go on social media, and watch movies. Singing is also something she loves to do, and she is well-versed and sings in many genres of music, including opera, musical theater, pop and jazz. Emmy has a YouTube channel where she performs covers of songs while accompanying herself on the piano, cello and guitar. Emmy also loves to post her singing and performances on Instagram and Tiktok (@emmy_liuwang).
