A New York City native, born and raised in the Bronx, Misha is a Puerto Rican storyteller whose journey spans from New York City to Germany, and ultimately Hollywood. With extensive credits on stage, television, and in film, Misha's passion for acting, writing, and directing is matched only by her deep connection to her cultural heritage. Misha's contributions as a multi-hyphenate artist reflect her talent, resilience, and unwavering commitment to telling authentic stories while blending her rich American/Caribbean roots with powerful, universally resonant narratives.
A graduate from Performing Arts High School in NYC, she later earned a BA from Cornell University and went on to earn an MBA abroad in Heidelberg, Germany. Although English is her native language she is fluent in both Spanish and German languages.
After a six-year absence from New York and acting to earn her MBA and work overseas, she returned to New York City to resume a career in acting. After one pilot season in LA, the move out West was inevitable. Alongside theater credits, she has accumulated numerous dramatic and comedic credits in television and film: namely in True Blood, This Is Us, American Horror Stories, Grey's Anatomy, How To Get Away with Murder and The Pitt. Films credits include, Seberg with Kristen Stewart, In My Pocket, and voice-over work for various commercial and video game projects.
Her passion for characters, storytelling, coupled with writing culminated in her writing a one-woman-show in 2016, "Hummingbird", which enjoyed a run in Los Angeles. In 2023 the solo-show had a successful run off-Broadway as an Actors' Equity production and was given honorable mention at New York's 2023 Solo United Festival. "Hummingbird" also featured an original song written by Misha, earning her the multi-hyphenate status: actor-writer-director-producer and lyricist. Her most recent writing credit is on the short film "La Luz".
In 2023, during the WGA's strike and SAG-AFTRA's strike, Misha found herself heeding the call to organize, educate and be part of the next chapter of change within the union and entertainment industry and became a union captain on the front-line. Misha is also a proud member of Latinas Acting Up (LAU), the community created, national organization which aims to promote representation, opportunities and fair treatment of Latinas in the entertainment industry.
Misha enjoys her bi-coastal living (LA & NYC) and adores her Shepherd/Terrier rescue, Dolly.
