Phillip Solheim
- Actor
- Producer
Raised by two artistic souls in Seattle, Washington, Phillip began honing his performance skills early. His father, David-a video producer for the local news station-put him on camera before he'd lost his first tooth, while his mother, Laurie Solheim, taught him to sing in their neighborhood church pews. His artistic journey gained recognition when he was named Downbeat Magazine's 2013 Jr. High Jazz Vocalist of the Year and joined the 5th Avenue Theatre's Rising Star Project.
Tony nominee Lara Teeter selected Phillip to study at Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts, where he built a strong foundation in contemporary and classical theater while collaborating with the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Variety Theatre, and The Muny. His professional career grew through roles in internationally showcased short films and regional stage performances. Notable stage credits include Claude in Hair, Moritz in Spring Awakening, and the notorious H.H. Holmes in a developmental production of Deadly, directed by Broadway's Caesar Samayoa.
Phillip's recent film work includes leading roles in Lines by Liesl Wilke, directed by Sara Werner-which premiered at Hollywood's Chinese Theatre during the 2024 Beverly Hills Film Festival-and MASC, written and directed by Jason Eldridge for Decoded Studio, which was selected for the 2024 Chelsea Film Festival and won Best LGBTQ+ Narrative Short at the Denver Underground Film Festival.
He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to refine his craft as a student in Zak Barnett Studio's Screen Actors Certificate Program. [2025]
