Biography

Diogo Monteiro, 37 years old, is an actor from Rio de Janeiro. He graduated in performing arts by CAL and Martins Pena, the oldest Theater School in South America and at the Brazilian National Circus School. His debut in audiovisual was in Malhação Vidas Brasileiras as Bryan, a trainer using his authority to abuse young athletes. Still in 2019, he acted as the cop Lopes in Reality Z, from Netflix. Behind the cameras, Diogo has been doing physical preparation to films such as "Simonal" from Leandro Domingues, "Eduardo e Mônica", from René Sampaio and the Series "Dom" from Breno Silveira. On Stage, between 2017 and 2018, he performed "Leo and Bia" from Oswaldo Montenegro. At the act, Diogo was Leo, a young director trying to create art at the 1970's, the dictatorial period in Brazil. From 2011 to 2016, he was part of Intrépida Trupe, a well known theater/circus company, where he was able to experience different directors and process mixing dance, theater, circus and visual arts. Diogo speaks English, Spanish and French. Besides studying acting, dedicates his time to sculpting and drawing career.
