Mouloud Kay

Hailing from Paris, France, Mouloud Kay is a screenwriter, director, and occasional cinematographer. He began studying cinema at Paris 3 - La Sorbonne Nouvelle, but quickly found he was learning more about filmmaking while working in an independent video rental shop. Kay taught himself how to use camera and lighting while working as a cinematographer and director for a recording label based in Brighton, UK, where he spent most of his adult life. In 2024, he co-wrote and directed the short film "Cramés" for the Nikon Film Festival. His debut co-written feature "Falsehood", directed by Ethan Hickey, is set for release in late 2025.
