  • She was born to a white mother and a black father.
  • Prior to auditioning for American Idol 2, 24 year old Kimberley was an administrative assistant at a company that licenses music for jukeboxes in Nashville, Tennessee. She had also just enrolled in law school.
  • The oldest finalist from either of the first two seasons of American Idol, Kimberley was often described by her fellow contestants as the mature, level-headed one of the house, who was like a big sister to everyone.
  • Once engaged to be married to fitness expert and Celebrity Fit Club drill sergeant, Harvey Walden IV.
  • After leaving Curb Records in 2009, Kimberley became the first artist signed to Randy Jackson's new dance label, Dream Merchant 21.
  • #1 hit song called "8th World Wonder". (2004)
