His older brother Aaron Pinkston is the Field Producer on Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Began Martial Arts training when he was 4 years old. Has second degree black belt in Wushu Kung Fu and first in Tae Kwon Do.

Ryan is an avid Washington Redskins fan and returns home every season to attend a home game.
