Tristan Carter-Jones is a musician, writer, and performer based in Brooklyn. She is the front-woman of Dakota Jones, a genre-melding band that is equal parts rock, funk, hip-hop, and soul. As a musician, she is best known for her raw, poetic lyricism and unforgettable stage shows, which have toured some of NYC's most respected venues and well beyond.
Throuple was the first feature film that Tristan has had the opportunity to be a part of, and what a special project to jump in with. Tristan found both a creative challenge and a deep joy in working on Throuple, and was thrilled to help bring such a wonderfully original, queer-centric, and big-hearted project to life.
