Payal Kalra

Born in Gujarat, Payal fondly calls herself a Gujarat-born-Punjabi. She did her graduation in English Literature from Delhi University where fate introduced her to theatre that became her career. She did her Masters in Theatre from Mumbai University and then Doctorate from Department of Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh which is now also the place where she belongs to. Currently based in Mumbai, Payal is working as an actor in both theatre and cinema. Payal enjoys dancing, travelling, badminton, reading, sometimes sketching and photography. Staying true to her zodiac sign, which is Gemini, she loves learning different forms of workouts, current been Martial Arts. The Universe is her home and she desires to see at least all the continents on Earth and may be go to the Moon, in this life time. She is married to Chaman Bansal, an actor, academician and brilliant cook.
