Martin started acting later in life following a successful career casting unscripted television. He's cast a diverse range of docuseries and reality shows, including global hit Undercover Boss. He lives in Los Angeles, but is originally from London, where he worked as a broadcast journalist, enjoying stints at the BBC, ITN, CNBC and LBC. He trains in Hollywood at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop. Martin has dual British and American citizenship and is married to House of the Dragon director Clare Kilner.
