Cynthia Strother, Kay Strother, and The Bell Sisters in Those Redheads from Seattle (1953)
The Bell Sisters were an American singing and recording duo, popular in the early 1950s. The duo consisted of the sisters Cynthia Strother and Kay Strother, who adopted their mother's maiden name of Bell for their stage act.

Cynthia Strother was the older sister and Kay Strother was the younger. The Bell Sisters had several radio and jukebox hits for RCA, their most popular being "Bermuda" (which Cynthia Strother wrote) and which reached #7 on the Billboard charts in early 1952. "Bermuda" sold over one million copies. The Bell Sisters also reached #10 with "Wheel of Fortune," #19 with "Hambone" (recorded with Phil Harris) and #26 with "Rutza Rutza."

The Bell Sisters appeared around the country live and on radio and television with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Dinah Shore, Nat 'King' Cole, Frank Sinatra. They also did two tours of Korea with the USO at Christmastime in 1953 and 1954.

The pair stopped performing together in 1956. Ten years later, Kay Strother had a singing and performing career as "Kay Bell and The Spacemen" - performing at Disneyland and doing radio commercials and television appearances for the theme park.
