    • Actress, Producer and Writer, Zair Montes started her career in the industry as an actress, performing in several roles in different countries in Latin America. In this regard, she has a vast experience in TV, theatre and films. In 2007, she performed in the Venezuelan award winning film: "La Clase". In 2011, she played a supporting role in the feature film "Carrusel", a satirical comedy shot in Colombia. That same year, she participated in Popland, a TV Series produced by MTV. In 2014, she produced and played a lead role in the American feature film "Habana Instant", a drama shot on location in Cuba and winner of the Innovation Award and Ecumenical award at Montreal World Film Festival, 2015. In 2016, she produced the first horror movie to be shot between New York and Havana: "Havana Darkness", and she also produced and acted in the movie "Welcome to Acapulco" starring WIlliam Baldwin, Paul Sorvino and Michael Madsen. In 2018, she acted in the New York movie "Respite", and her performance won her best supporting actress at the Golden Door International Film Festival 2020. In 2018, she also wrote her first theater play: "The Flowers" which was premiered as a short format in New York City and won four Latin American Theater Awards including, best actress and producer. In 2019, she turned the play into a TV Series and filmed it in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She produced it and played the lead. The series premiered in September 2020 on Amazon Prime. Later that year, she produced the the movie "How I got There?" starring Ron Perlman. In 2020, she finished principal photography of her film: "Rumba Love", shot on locations in New York and Cuba in which she acts and produces. Zair also wrote and acted in the web series "A Couple in Quarantine" available on GCFlix. In 2021 she premiered Rumba Love theatrically and on VOD in North America. She also premiered "Imagine", a short film she wrote to honor those who have departed during the pandemic. She is also the lead in the short film. In 2022, she wrote, produced and acted in the inspirational short film: The Other Side of Things, which premiered at Dances with Films Festival as official selection and won Best Short Film at the Georgia Latino Film Festival 2022. In 2023, she played the lead in the Mexican movie: El Elixir del Amor and she played a supporting role in the action movie: 6 Hours Away which premiered in the US on April 2024. She also played a supporting role in: Doctor Doctor, an American comedy by Stevan Mraovitch.
