  • Appeared as an extra on "ER" during the 1994 off-season.
  • Grabbed and pulled 3½-year-old Darren Baker away from home plate after the boy ran out of the dugout to pick up Kenny Lofton's bat while teammate David Bell was running full-speed behind Snow. Darren's father, Dusty Baker, later claimed to the media that he was too busy managing San Francisco's 16-4 blowout against the Anaheim Angels to notice that Darren had run onto the field. (24 October 2002).
  • Son of Jack Snow, former Notre Dame All-America wide receiver who also played 11 NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.
  • First baseman with the American League's New York Yankees (1992), and California Angels (1993-1996); and the National League's San Francisco Giants, 1997-2004.
  • Made major league debut on 20 September 1992.
  • Named to "Baseball Digest" magazine's 1993 Rookie All-Star Team.
