Originally born in Columbus, Ohio, Melissa began her career as a child model for major department chain store catalogs at the age of just 3 years old. Soon after she found her way to the stage in The Velveteen Rabbit and has forever since been in love with acting & the power of storytelling. While in Ohio, she attended Kent State University where she studied theater/acting. After college Melissa moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams & more importantly to be surrounded & encouraged by some of the greatest talent in the world.
Over the years, working as both an actress and producer, Melissa has worked on various films, television, commercial & theatre projects. Her role on the first season of FOX's Joe Millionaire launched her into the world of Reality TV where she was able to make amazing lifelong friendships and learn the inner workings of major network television.
In her downtime, Melissa loves spending time at home tending to her garden and playing with her 2 rescue dogs. She has traveled extensively and loves any opportunity to go on new adventures.
