The series is based on Knox’s harrowing journey to prove her innocence and regain her freedom after being wrongfully imprisoned for her roommate’s murder. Knox, a Seattle native, was studying abroad in Italy at the time. After being initially convicted for murder in 2007, she was later acquitted by Italy’s highest court in 2015.

“Many people think they know my story, but now it’s my turn to tell it,” Van Patten’s Knox can be heard saying in the footage (below), which debuted during game five of the NBA Finals on Monday.

When it comes to any TV show, some episodes are stronger than others. Silo season 2 certainly had a strong season, but how do the episodes hold up against each other?

This was a season set in two locations. We saw Juliette make it to Silo 17, learning that her own silo isn’t the only place on Earth, and that her people aren’t the only survivors. Meanwhile, a rebellion threatened to grow in Silo 18, as many in Mechanical believed that Juliette was alive and the air outside was safe.

There were some parts of the story that dragged, but by the end of the season, we were certainly left wanting more. Let’s rank the episodes from worst to best.

With the departure of certain members of the Silo cast and the implied exit of others, the final episode of season 2 is filled with various emotions that permeate the omnipresent tension. The series returned in November 2024 for its second season, and the setting expanded to include another silo along with new characters. Season 2 ends with an epic cliffhanger that has fans relieved to know that third and fourth seasons are coming.

It's been a quite a journey for Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) and the rest of the characters on Apple TV+'s Silo, but at long last we've arrived at the season finale. In last week's penultimate episode, "The Safeguard," we finally learned the real identity of Juliette's companion Solo (Steve Zahn). Meanwhile, the conflict in Silo 18 reached a boiling point, while new It shadow Lukas Kyle (Avi Nash) made a discovery deep in the bowels of the structure.
