Her films have earned over 50 awards and 150 official selections across 60+ international film festivals. Pamela herself has received eight awards for acting, screenwriting, and producing.
Driven by a passion for storytelling and a deep connection to nature, Pamela's work often explores environmental themes. Her journey into filmmaking began during a research trip to the Galapagos Islands, where the story of the tortoises inspired her to write a picture book, a novel, and eventually a screenplay.
Pamela leads Youth Filmmakers workshops and is the Youth Program Manager for the Misty Flicks Film Festival, helping to nurture the next generation of storytellers. Before entering the film industry, she was an environmental academic, editor, and park ranger with over 100 publications on sustainability and biodiversity. This rich background continues to shape her unique storytelling voice on screen.
