Emir Shah was born in Patna, Bihar, to Mohammad Nematullah and R. Nemat. He first acted in a school play titled "Nooh Ki Kashti" in Class 5. Later, after completing his matriculation, he joined theatre groups in Patna, Delhi, and Mumbai. He is an Indian actor and fitness model. He's debuting in Bollywood with his upcoming movie "Yeh Dosti Crazy Hai."
Emir has also appeared in web series, including Hand of God for JioHotstar (yet to release) and GenZ Jholars for BuzzFlix (as the main lead).
He is a well-known personality through his work in Indian commercials. His notable ads include Amul India, MSI Laptops, XLR8 Sports Nutrition with cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, Dabur Hajmola, and many more. He also starred in a Pepsi TVC with Salman Khan, where he played the iconic character "Prem" from Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!
He began his television career with Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, and later appeared in shows like Gangaa and Peshwa Bajirao. In 2022, he featured in two TV shows - first, as Vaibhav Dev in the popular &TV daily soap Ek Mahanayak - Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, where the audience loved his character and he received much acclaim and popularity. Later that year, he appeared in the Star Bharat TV show Aashaon Ka Savera... Dheere Dheere Se, playing the parallel lead character Abhishek Shastri.
With his acting skills and innocent looks, he also gained popularity through Sony TV's iconic episodic show Crime Patrol.
