In “The Cowboy and the Queen,” filmmaker Andrea Nevins chronicles the work of Monty Roberts, a California-based horse trainer whose nonviolent training techniques caught the eye of the late monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. The documentary examines how the Queen endorsed Roberts’ controversial compassionate horse training methods in 1989, which helped him transform horse training standards worldwide.
The 84-minute film made its world premiere at Doc NYC last year. Greenwich Entertainment will release the doc in select theaters on Sept. 6.
Nevins initially set out to make a documentary about the Queen and her work breeding her famous brood of Corgis – short-legged herding dogs who originated in Wales. While she was on the throne the Queen owned an estimated 30 corgis and dorgis.
“I thought, if I could interview some of the women who helped her breed her illustrious brood, it would be an interesting way to look at this one area where the...

Here's hoping Invasion receives a third-season order from Apple TV+ because viewers were left with a cliffhanger.
Humanity made its long-awaited counterassault on the alien mother ship on Invasion Season 2 Episode 10.
Still, do two people, one being a teenager, qualify as a counterassault?
That will depend on whether Trevante can determine how to wield that shard most efficiently.
There's also the question of Caspar's abilities beyond transferring his consciousness to that ship. He's got to be more than a celestial tour guide.
And making all of this possible was Mitzuki, who got pushed to her limits after visiting the mother ship on Invasion Season 2 Episode 9.
All her interaction with the alien portal had left Mitzuki, to use a technical term, more than a little scrambled.
She was holding things just slightly more together than that ward full of the scientists who had formerly interacted with the alien entity she later identified as a portal.

Finally, after nearly two seasons apart, the resistance forces are starting to come together.
Still, the title of Invasion Season 2 Episode 9 was a bit of an exaggeration.
The Earth forces know more about the aliens now. But how do they translate that hard-earned knowledge into victory?
It made sense that humanity's biggest two weapons finally united to make a crucial discovery.
Determined to make amends for the death of her lover, Hinata, Mitsuki has risked her life repeatedly to learn more about the aliens who took Hinata from her.
Even though Nikhil was happy to take the Wdc kudos, Mitsuki deserves credit for the handful of human wins in this war against the invaders.
That being said, her blowing up the alien entity/portal with which she had been melding probably wasn't the best of choices, even though she did stop the seismic events caused by the aliens on Invasion...

A stage production of Monty Python's Life of Brian is in the works, but long-time member Eric Idle says he's uninvolved and suggested that his song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" has been cut.
Idle took to Twitter to correct a news story originally written by The Daily Mail, which claims that a Life of Brian stage show will open in London in 2024. The report says that Idle and fellow Monty Python member John Cleese are putting the production together and that the film's famous song will appear during the show. However, Idle said that he has "nothing at all to do with this production or adaptation," and that Cleese "has cut the song." Fans voiced support for Idle in the replies.

I have nothing at all to do with this production or adaptation,. Apparently Cleese has cut the song.

The absurd action-comedy Mrs. Davis has reached its final episode, and many of our questions have been answered. This show really grows on you with lovable characters and hope for Simone to find the love she needs by the end of it. The AI-fighting Nun will supposedly not be returning for a second season, but we’re sure that everyone wants some more of Simone’s charm. Let’s figure out how satisfying the ending of Mrs. Davis is!
What Happens In ‘Mrs. Davis’ Episode 8?
We finally understand how it all started, and it’s not even remotely what we expected it to be. The creator of Mrs. Davis is Joy, a simple yet ambitious woman who essentially created the future—an app for Buffalo Wings—that was too incredible for, well, Buffalo Wings. Joy’s app was meant to provide mutual aid for people through acts of service, mobilizing humans to perform these acts.
