Ivo C. Pereira was born in Barcelos, Portugal and raised in Toronto, Ontario for most of his life. An experienced practitioner of martial arts and stunt work including Karate, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and a background in Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu.
He began his journey as an actor through his studies of the industry, becoming a graduate with honors and distinction from the actors program at Toronto Film School. He has directed, and starred in several of his own short films, and has also starred in several other short productions, two of which became award winning comedy films "Forced Friendships" and "The Bored Room" which highlight Ivos comedic talents. He made his first feature film debut in the found footage horror "Near". Proficient in Portuguese and very passionate about motion capture and voice over work his vocal capabilities and character voices allow him to excel in creating entertaining stories.
His past work and life experiences such as a martial arts instructor and private security, have prepared Ivo for various leadership roles and positions, that take charge and can handle the pressure of intense situations! He enjoys spending his spare time rock climbing or bouldering along with the occasional motorcycle ride and dirt biking course, and he has a background in Hip-Hop and break dancing. Ivo enjoys writing, and spends time creating stories for shows, books, and comics that allow him to continue exploring and growing his creativity!
