Debra Stables

Debra Stables is originally from Calgary, Canada. She got her love of singing and acting from her Scottish parents who absolutely adored old Hollywood musicals. And movies in general. Two of her favourite films of all time were also her parents favourites. Her father loved Singing in the Rain and her mother, The Red Shoes. Both masterpieces in their own right!
After completing her B.Ed at the University of Calgary, specializing in Drama, she moved to London, England to study theatre more extensively at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
She remained in the UK for several years, performing in shows around the country and in London's West End. Some of her credits include, Wizard of Oz, Les Miserables, Cats, Into the Woods, Sherlock Holmes-The Musical, The Manchurian Candidate, and her biggest claim to fame, Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London.
She also, literally, circumnavigated the world performing in show companies for some of the major cruise lines, including Disney.
When she returned to Canada, she taught performance art and acting to children and coached young people for auditions for some of the main Arts Schools in Toronto. She also coached adults and other professional actors for upcoming auditions.
In recent years, she has returned to her acting roots focused on TV and film.
Debra loves to dance and always enjoys watching exquisite dancers light up a stage.
Debra also loves dogs and has had the privilege of having several special pooches in her life over the years.
Debra has both Canadian and UK Citizenship.
