In 2018 Veterans in Media & Entertainment recognized her advocacy for veterans and honored her for helping veterans transition into the entertainment industry. Additionally, she was an Honorary Guest at the 2017 Northern Wave International Film Festival in Iceland, where she appeared alongside the celebrated Icelandic actress Edda Björgvinsdóttir.
