Austin Vandagriff is an American actor from Amarillo, Texas.
Austin became interested in the idea of films and photography at a young age, and that passion continued to grow into his teen years. At the age of 17, he began taking photographs and found a love for film making, which helped lead him on the path of pursuing an acting career and taking photographs in his spare time. To help with this pursuit, he began training in Mixed Martial Arts and weapons training to keep in physical shape for any project that comes his way.
Austin has worked on short films and Indie films where he was cast as lead and supporting roles, while having also worked on television shows and feature films where he did background acting, crew and stand-in work.
"Dead Community Guild" is his most known role to date, which premiered in August of 2024 and is set to be shown at multiple upcoming film festivals. "Student #5", "Melody of Vanishing Moments" and "Dinner for Two" are set to premiere at the upcoming Amarillo International Film Festival in October of 2024.
His past work includes his time on the Yellowstone prequel series "1883" where he was a core Slavic Emigrant background character and stand-in for multiple characters. Austin also worked on the short film "Gasp!" where he played the antagonist role, and "The Salesman" where he played the character of Daniel.
Austin's goals are to continue growing as an actor, build his resume, and write screenplays that will eventually be made into full-length feature films. He plans to continue his pursuit of an acting career and make it in the industry where he can broaden his knowledge and embody different characters, with the ultimate goal being to land a supporting or lead role in a feature film.
