Anton Siluanov
Anton SIluanov is a Russian statesman, economist. Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation since 2011. Born in a family of professional financiers. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Financial Institute with a degree in finance and credit. From August 1985 to March 1987 - economist at Giproryba, senior economist at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian SFSR. From May 1989 to January 1992 - leading economist, 1st category economist, deputy head of a sub-department, consultant to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian SFSR. In February 1992 - Deputy Head of Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Russian Federation. From February 1992 to October 1997 - deputy head of the budget department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. From October 1997 to July 2003 - Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Policy and Banking Activities of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. From July 2003 to May 2004 - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation. From December 16, 2011 - appointed Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation and included in the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
