There's a Lot More to These Housewives Than They Let On
Image
Reality TV can be a tricky space to navigate, especially in cases where the genre's stars would prefer to keep some things to themselves. The mysterious fizzling out of Kyle Richards' marriage to Mauricio Umansky came up at a seemingly poor time, considering her reluctance to share details on her series Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If he could have, it is pretty clear that Tom Sandoval would have kept his affair with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss under wraps on Vanderpump Rules, at least long enough to be able to control the narrative with a semi-plausible excuse at a later date. It is also obvious that real-estate agent Austin Victoria was not ready for rumors about his marriage to surface during filming on Netflix's real estate docu-soap Selling the Oc. In instances where the stars of reality TV engage in damage control, or refuse to speak about certain areas of their life,...

Why Alex Hall Is Being Labeled The Villain Of Selling The Oc
Image
Alex Hall causes drama by turning on fellow castmates like Gio and Kayla, proving herself to be the true villain of Selling the Oc. Hall plays Tyler Stanaland, leading him on before ditching him for someone else, displaying her spiteful nature. Hall acts two-faced, gossiping about and belittling her colleagues like Jarvis and Rose, earning the title of mean girl and bully.

Selling the Oc fans have labeled cast member Alex Hall the villain of the franchise, and there are many reasons why she deserves that title. Selling the Oc is the first spinoff of the real estate reality Netflix series Selling Sunset. Unlike its parent show, Selling the Oc features a mix of male and female realtors and is set against the backdrop of Orange County. Besides Hall, the rest of the Selling the Oc cast includes Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Kayla Cardona, Tyler Stanaland, Sean Palmieri, Brandi Marshall,...

The Oppenheim Group, purveyors of “Selling Sunset,” is back for “Selling the Oc.” I spent some time with the one half of the Oppenheim Group, Brett Oppenheim and half of the cast of the new Netflix reality series namely Kayla Carmona, Gio Helou, Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, and Austin Victoria. “Selling the Oc” is

The "Selling the Oc" Cast Explain How Their Series Is "Totally Different" From "Selling Sunset"
Image
The "Selling Sunset" franchise is expanding to a new city with fresh faces, stunning real estate, and, of course, more drama in Netflix's "Selling the Oc." The extension of The Oppenheim Group's successful flagship series (going on its sixth season) premiered on Aug. 24 and sets roots in California's Orange County. Despite sharing a home state, the "Selling the Oc" cast - which includes Alex Hall, Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Kayla Cardona, Lauren Brito, Polly Brindle, Sean Palmieri, Tyler Stanaland, and Lauren Shortt - and "Selling Sunset" stars/brokers Jason and Brett Oppenheim tell Popsugar that their new show is nothing like its predecessor.

"Orange County itself [is] like a whole different vibe than LA."

"[We're different] pretty much in every way," says Jarvis. "I mean, it's entirely new people. New personalities, totally different dynamic . . . We have a lot of newer agents, too. A lot of us...

How Selling the Oc's Men Change the Office Dynamics
We've pulled the comps and Selling the Oc is proving to be a valuable property. The Selling Sunset spin-off series changes things up by bringing male agents into the Oppenheim Group offices. In the debut season, fans will get to know Gio Helou, Tyler Stanaland, Sean Palmieri and Austin Victoria, all of whom are newcomers to the Oppenheim Group's Orange County-based office. In all honesty, they're not too different from their female counterparts. However, if you asked Jason Oppenheim, he'd say the men are a positive addition to the team when compared to the Sunset offices. "It's co-ed. I'm not in an estrogen bowl like I am in Selling Sunset, so I get...

Bruce Willis, Kathleen Quinlan, and James Garner in Meurtre à Hollywood (1988)
‘Selling the Oc’ Trailer Promises New Agents and Locale, Classic Oppenheim Group Clashes (Video)
Bruce Willis, Kathleen Quinlan, and James Garner in Meurtre à Hollywood (1988)
The Oppenheim Group is expanding to Orange County, and it looks like the drama has followed.

A new trailer for Netflix’s “Selling the Oc” introduces some of the big personalities who will be joining the brokerage’s new Southern California location and teases that, just like “Selling Sunset,” they’re destined to clash.

“The Oppenheim Group comes with its own brand of office politics,” one of the agents declares. But while there’s definitely a few tense moments in the office, there appears to be some wholesome ones, as well.

The trailer ends with many of the agents huddling together to watch the sunset over the ocean as Oppenheimer Group newcomer Tyler Stanaland asks: “How many other real estate offices have cuddle puddles on the beach?”

You can watch the full trailer in the video above.

Selling Sunset Nabs Two Season Renewal as Spinoff Selling the Oc Lands Premiere Date
Selling Sunset (2019)
The Selling Sunset ladies will continue to serve up the drama and mansions.

Netflix has officially renewed the hit reality series for two more seasons, keeping the show on the air through its seventh season.

Set in the world of LA’s high-end real estate, Selling Sunset follows the city's most successful female realtors who all work under the same roof at The Oppenheim Group, the #1 agency in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip.

They work hard and play harder, as they compete with the cutthroat LA market... and each other.

No details have been revealed about the cast, meaning fans will have to wait for a while longer to find out what will become of Christine Quinn.

Her time on the show appeared to be on the rocks at the close of the fifth season, but there's no telling what the show will have in store for fans when it returns.

The Selling the O.C. First Teaser Has Nudity, Backstabbing and, Of Course, Real Estate
If you thought Selling Sunset was dramatic, you haven't seen anything yet. The first teaser for Netflix's Selling the O.C. dropped May 6, confirming that the Oppenheim Group's Orange County offices are just as competitive, if not more than their offices in West Hollywood. But the agents—Alex Hall, Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Kayla Cardona, Lauren Brito, Polly Brindle, Sean Palmieri and Tyler Stanaland—aren't just fighting over listings—they're fighting over men, too.
